Resumen

El presente trabajo titulado “Del Laboratorio a la Pista: Evidencia Científica de los Beneficios del Entrenamiento Fartlek” busca resaltar los beneficios que brinda este tipo de entrenamiento en la periodización de la carrera. A través de una cuidadosa y exhaustiva revisión de la literatura, pretendemos recopilar y presentar las principales evidencias científicas que dilucidan y justifican la eficacia del entrenamiento Fartlek para corredores. Fartlek, un método de entrenamiento sueco que combina ejercicio aeróbico y anaeróbico, ha sido ampliamente utilizado por corredores de todo el mundo. La pregunta que guía esta investigación es: ¿Qué importancia tiene y cuáles son los beneficios del entrenamiento fartlek en la periodización de la carrera? La metodología adoptada implicó una búsqueda exhaustiva en bases de datos científicas para identificar estudios relevantes que respondan a la pregunta de investigación propuesta. El análisis de estos estudios resaltará los principales resultados obtenidos en el rendimiento de los corredores que aplicaron el entrenamiento Fartlek en sus rutinas. Se espera que este trabajo pueda contribuir a la comprensión de los beneficios del método Fartlek en el rendimiento físico de los corredores, brindando apoyo a los profesionales de la salud y el deporte, además de los propios practicantes. De esta manera, la literatura existente sobre este tipo de formación puede explorarse y aplicarse mejor en un contexto práctico.
